Chijov O. Development of cultural and educational institutions in Sumy region (in the late 1930's and early XXI century).

The dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive research topic of the museum, club, and library institutions development of Sumy region in the late 1930's - the second decade of the twenty-first century as an integral part of the pan-Ukrainian cultural process. The paper describes an aggregate picture of the formation, development and functioning of the network of cultural and educational institutions of Sumy region in the predefined period. The directions, forms, and methods of cultural and educational institutions work are determined at different historical stages. A comparative analysis of the cultural institution's activities, their interaction and influence on the formation of the cultural environment of Sumy region, as well as on the history of Ukrainian culture in general, is carried out.
