Essay

Object - socio-economic stratification of the European Union countries. The purpose is to deepen the theoretical concepts of socio-economic stratification and to develop, on this basis, applied recommendations for its alignment both in the EU countries and in Ukraine.Methods - methods of scientific abstraction and synthesis, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, observation and comparison, descriptive statistics and analysis of the distribution of characteristic features, econometric methods, the method of cybernetic imitative modeling, table and visual (graphical) methods. Results - the author's conception of identifying system determinants of socio-economic stratification of the EU countries is theoretically substantiated and based on this basis approaches to its equalization both in the integration union of the EU and in Ukraine. Novelty - for the first time formulated the main provisions of the author's concept of identification of system determinants of socio-economic stratification, based on modern theories of stratification of society, the interpretation of the term "socio-economic stratification", the classification of the main types of stratification by features, theoretical and methodical principles of institutional regulation of socio-economic stratification of the EU member states has been improved; further developed theoretical and conceptual foundations of institutional regulation of socio-economic stratification of EU member states with the distinction of time limits, the substantiation of the concept of "interstate diffusion of inclusive development", scientific methodical approaches to the formulation and empirical testing of the hypothesis about the need to fix the inequality of positions of individual countries not only by economic, but also social and innovative indicators, and consideration of socio-economic stratification as an institutionalized phenomenon. It was introduced into the activities of the Committee on Economic Policy of the VerkhovnaRada of Ukraine, the Department of Social Protection of the TernopilRegion State Administration, the Department for Strategic Development of the Ternopil City Council and the educational process of the Ternopil National Economic University. Scope of use -the work of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pensions.
