The thesis focuses on the problem of preparation of future navigators for professionally-oriented communication by means of case-technologies. Case-technologies involve the use of innovative training methods and aim at the development of critical thinking, formation of cadets' interest to learning process, obtaining knowledge in challenging situations. In the thesis the notion of "foreign-language professionally-oriented communication of future navigators".Practical importance of the obtained results lies in the creating: the training course "Professionally-oriented communication basics for future navigators", the authors course book "Cases on Board Vessels".
