Essay

The dissertation research focuses on the development of an experimental program the training process for qualified female handball players based on differentiated training loads and special psychological support (autogenic training), taking into account the specific physiological characteristics of the female body, and their playing position. Improvement of the training process is facilitated with regard to specific physiological body features of the qualified female handball players. The content of macrocycle structural formations was developed on the basis of the application of differentiated training loads in different phases of the ovarian-menstrual cycle (OMC) and depending on the playing positions. A complex of special psychological support (autogenic training) in various phases of the OMC of qualified female handball players was introduced in order to minimise the influence of the specific female physiological characteristics on the effectiveness of the training process and their competitive activity. The experimental program to build the training process of qualified female handballers, in terms of specific physiological body characteristics, contains the following components: the structure and content of the training process with regard to specific physiological body characteristics of qualified female handball players; assessment of indicators of the functional, technical and tactical competence of qualified handball players in training and competition processes; specific training microcycles and mesocycles developed with regard to the phases of the OMC and the athletes' playing positions with the use of differentiated training loads for qualified female players; the algorithmization of training loads and special psychological support (autogenic training) to minimise the impact of specific physiological characteristics of qualified female handballers in different OMC phases on the training process and the effectiveness of their competition activity; special forms and means for correction of the training and competitive activity of qualified female handballers with various playing roles; development of practical recommendations for coaches and athletes. The implementation of a developed and scientifically-grounded system of designing the training process for qualified female handball players, in terms of specific physiological characteristics and their playing positions while apportioning the amount, intensity, and functional targeting of the training process, combined with special psychological support (autogenic training) in the experimental group has proved the system efficiency. The research observed significant progress in terms of increased effectiveness of competitive activities together with indicators proving the synchronization effect of the menstrual cycle in the experimental group.
