Fogel K. Political Aspects of the Formation and Development of the European Union Migration Policy.

The dissertation is devoted to the thorough research of the political aspects of the formation and development of the migration policy of the European Union in the context of the transformation of the international environment under the influence of integration on the one hand and the actualization of migration challenges, on the other. The article analyzes the evolution of the migration policies of the EU member states (on the example of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Poland and the Greece Republic) in the context of the formation, functioning and transformation of the EU common migration policy. The external dimension of the EU migration policy and its significance for the activities of third countries have been characterized, the new, fifth stage of the formation of the EU migration policy (started in 2016) has been outlined, in which Member States demonstrate the desire to externalize certain issues related to the regulation of migration streams, which testifies to the significance of the "external dimension" of the EU migration policy.
