In the dissertation research the actual scientific and applied task concerning the improvement of the content of physical training of female cadets of higher military educational institutions is solved with the purpose of forming a sufficient level of physical preparedness, functional readiness, state of health to perform tasks for the intended purpose after graduation from an educational institution and ensuring the formation of motivation for physical exercises. The main results of the work include the scientific substantiation of the phased content of the physical training and the development of the author's curriculum program of study subject "Physical Education and Special Physical Training" for female cadets with taking into account the initial level of physical preparedness, the tasks of the stages of study in the higher military educational institution, the girls' desire to apply innovative technologies while organizing the taking of physical exercises. During the ascertaining experiment the initial level of candidates for entry and the dynamics of physical preparedness of female cadets during studying in the higher military educational institution as well as their level of functional readiness and quality of training were investigated, and the subjective vision of possible changes in the content of physical training lessons was determined. On the basis of the research conducted and taking into account the analysis of literary and scientific sources the phased formation of the content of physical training, depending on the tasks of the stages of military-vocational training of female cadets in the higher military educational institution is suggested, namely: the stage of adaptation, the stage of professional-applied physical training and the stage of improving the functional preparedness. The evaluation of effectiveness of the implementation of the author's program of physical training of female cadets over a five-year period showed the improvement of the level of physical fitness (p <0.05-0.001), level of functional state (p <0.001), physical condition (p <0.01), state somatic health (p <0.001) of girls in the experimental group comparatively to the ones in the control group, as well as comparatively to the initial level's indicators. The results of the study made it possible to use physical exercises more effectively to train female cadets in the higher military educational institution with the aim of qualitative preparing of military specialists and the formation of girls' motivation for self-going in physical training.
