The thesis offers rationale and description of substantial components comprising the structure of future air traffic controllers' professional readiness - psychological and substantive-practical. These components characterize personality related and activity related elements of the professional readiness of future air traffic controllers to conduct radio exchange in non-routine situations, reflecting relationship with professional air traffic control activities. To determine the level of the formation of professional readiness of future air traffic controllers to conduct radio exchange in non-routine situations, certain criteria (motivational, emotional-volitional, cognitive, operational and activity-oriented) and their corresponding indicators are defined for each component of the professional readiness. The formation levels of the professional readiness of future air traffic controllers to conduct radio exchange in non-standard situations are defined as: low, medium, high.
