Essay

The dissertation is devoted to increase of efficiency of traction power supply of a direct current by compensation of harmonics of the rectified voltage in a wide frequency range and stabilization of voltage at the output of traction substation with the help of combined active filter and active filter-stabilizer of serial type. The study of the effect of suppression of canonical and non-canonical harmonics of the traction network voltage with the help of a combined active filter of a successive type with selective links was performed. A special charge scheme is proposed in the structure of the successive active filter with a capacitive energy storage device, which allows for active filtration and stabilization of the output voltage of the transformer unit. The results of experimental studies, obtained on the basis of simulation modeling, confirm the results of theoretical studies.
