Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving the scientific and practical task of increasing the energy efficiency of traction modes and regenerative braking of the electric rolling stock of direct and alternating currents by introducing the latest control systems of semiconductor transducers. The increase of the energy efficiency of the electric rolling stock of direct current is achieved by ensuring the stability of the process of regulating the anchor currents and the winding of excitation of the traction motor of direct current in the mode of regenerative braking due to optimization of the automatic control system by the parameter of its speed, which can be achieved by realizing the conditions of the process of finite durability. The increase of the energy efficiency of the electric rolling stock of alternating current is achieved through the use of active four-quadrant transducers with control systems built on the basis of hysteresis and pulse-width modulation, which implement the improvement of the quality of electric energy in traction and regenerative braking modes, as well as reduce the switching frequency of power switches, which is achieved by reducing the dynamic losses and increasing the coefficient of effectiveness.
