In this thesis author investigated the problem of forming a basis of younger schoolchildren musical and rhythmic culture during music lessons; author analyzed condition of a researches in musical-pedagogical science and practice; revealed the meaningful essence of forming a basis of younger schoolchildren musical and rhythmic culture during music lessons; determined the concepts "basis of a musical and rhythmic culture" and "forming a basis of musical and rhythmic culture"; developed and theoretically substantiated the component structure of this phenomenon (in the unity of emotional, cognitive, communicative and creative activity components), developed criteria, indicators and maturity levels of a basis of younger schoolchildren musical and rhythmic culture; suggested author's model of forming of a basis of younger schoolchildren musical and rhythmic culture. Author developed and experimentally proved gradual methodology of forming of the basis of younger schoolchildren musical and rhythmic culture during music lessons that consists of three stages: emotional-motivational, reproduction-accumulation, creatively-activating. Such organization of the educational process has led to gradual usage of proposed educational methods from the informational and representing at the first stage to search-and-interested at the second and creative-independent at the third stage.
