Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the problem of formation of multicultural competence of translators by means of information technologies of the controlled from distance studies. The research revealed and theoretically substantiated the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the multicultural competence of the translators (designing the linguistic environment with the help of interactive learning technologies; constructing the learning process for foreign languages on the basis of the dialogue of cultures and updating the subject experience; structuring the educational material on the basis of the modular approach and the complex of intercultural tasks; the amplification of the content of the education of future translators through the courses on the formation of multicultural competencies and the components) and the model of their implementation compiled of the following components: the purpose, objectives, ways of ensuring the effectiveness of training future translators, interpreters' training features, translators' multicultural competence components, criteria, indicators, levels of formatted translators' multicultural competence by means of information technologies of the controlled from distance studies, the result. It is determined that the structure of multicultural competence of future translators includes value-motivational, cognitive and professional-activity components. The formation of multicultural competence of future translators is determined by high, medium and low levels according to relative indicators. It is experimentally proved the efficiency of pedagogical conditions of the use of information technologies of the controlled from distance studies means in the preparation of future translators.
