Essay

The dissertation work is a finished scientific study, which investigates the crucial task on the formation of the domesticated brood-replacement stock of the European grayling and improvement of the technologies of its artificial reproduction for the restoration of its number in rivers of the Transcarpathian region. This work is devoted to the study of the biological peculiarities of the European grayling and creation of technological fundamentals for its artificial reproduction in conditions of the Transcarpathian region. A combined method of feeding the grayling larvae with natural and artificial feeds during rearing has been developed. Following was determined: viable mean weight of fish seeds for stocking rivers, which is not less than 5 g, quantitative parameters of juvenile grayling in rivers, the population of which will ensure an increase in fish production by 25-30 kg/ha.
