Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the problem of professional readiness of the future border guard officers to localization of nonstandard situations at the border crossing points across the State border. The analysis of the basic conceptual approaches to the problem has been carried out; the essence of the concept of «professional readiness of the future border guard officers to localization of nonstandard situations at border crossing points» and the formation of this structure, which consists of personal, cognitive and activity components have also been defined. The criteria, indicators and levels of professional readiness of the future border guard officers to localization of nonstandard situations have been defined. There have been defined major pedagogical conditions: development of motivation to learning of activity’s algorithm of officials at border crossing points during localization of non-standard situations; enrichment of educational disciplines content with examples of non-standard situations taking into account systematic analysis of the State border situation; use of active learning methods for cadets training to take decisions for localization of non-standard situations; increase of the practice oriented educational activity of cadets and development of communication culture with foreign citizens. Comprehensive and complex implementation of these pedagogical conditions was provided and the model has been worked out. The methodological recommendations to scientific and pedagogical staff on the formation of professional readiness of the future border guard officers to localization nonstandard situations at border crossing points across the State border have been worked out. Based on the analysis of pedagogical literature and empirical experience of training specialists there has been grounded the model of formation of professional readiness of the future border guard officers to localization of nonstandard situations at border crossing points. The application of the model of formation of professional readiness of the future border guard officers to localization of nonstandard situations at border crossing points across the State border has displayed the statistically reliable increasing of dynamics of formed level of professional readiness of the future border guard officers to localization of nonstandard situations at border crossing points.
