Yevpak N. Optimizing the Process of Competitive Activity of Athletes Specializing in Water Polo

The dissertation is devoted to issues of optimizating competitive activity of athletes specializing in water polo on the basis of integrated evaluation of their special preparedness taking into account the phases of MC. In the dissertation the author analyzes and summarizes the data of special scientific literature, which allowed to characterize sports activities, methods of athletes’ physical training in water polo. The attention was paid to the theoretical analysis of scientific researches on the specifics of the biological cyclic effects of the female body functions on motor qualities, special abilities of athletes of various sports specialties, and in water polo in particular. The level of effectiveness of the water polo players’ competitive activities during eight competitive games at the national and international levels conditioned by the functional state of their organism, has been analyzed and determined.
