Essay

In the work, a retrospective analysis of 80 birth stories of women with multiple pregnancy (MP) was performed; 155 pregnant women were examined, of which 114 - with MP and 41 - with single pregnancy; approbation of the developed model for predicting the risk of complications among the 27 women with MP was tested; the effectiveness of the individualized approaches to conducting patients with MP in 25 women is determined. It has been established that the majority of women with MP have a complicated somatic and gynecological history, the course of pregnancy and childbirth is accompanied by frequent complications, resulting in an increase in the percentage of surgical interventions and adverse perinatal consequences. Based on the in-depth study of the fetoplacental complex with the determination of placental lactogen, estriol, progesterone and cortisol in MP, the peculiarities of its functioning in different types of placentation have been determined. A prognostic model for calculating the integral risk index for development of gestational and perinatal complications with BV was developed and clinically significant factors of perinatal complications were established. Diagnostic criteria for delivery are substantiated and stage-based principles of pregnancy and childbirth taking into account the type of placenta that are used to improve the results of labor and perinatal consequences are implemented.
