Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving the actual scientific and practical issue – to establish the regularities of the influence of the previously infrared heating of veneer packages on the properties of plywood and on the basis of it the development of the innovative technology of manufacturing plywood for a reduced compression time. In this paper, the influence of infrared radiation on wood and existing sources of infrared radiation have been analyzed. The physical and mathematical models of the process of heating the pack of veneer using the energy of infrared radiation have been developed. The kinetic regularities of the process of heating the packages of veneer with and without glue with the use of infrared radiation are determined and its influence on the duration of the heating of the package of veneer and the amount of removal of moisture from it are revealed. On the basis of statistical processing of the obtained data, the influence of the main parameters of warming on the duration of gluing of plywood and the strength characteristics of plywood were determined. The technology of plywood manufacturing with the pre-heating of the veneer packet in the infrared radiation spectrum is proposed and the main parameters of the regime parameters for the given process are given. The devices, production line is developed and a method for making plywood with the prior infrared heating of veneer packages is offered. The proposed technological process of manufacturing plywood with preinfrared heating of veneer packages can significantly reduce the duration of plywood pressing. The total productivity of the enterprise with the use of this method increases by 1.7 times, which undoubtedly proves a significant intensification of the process of gluing plywood and increases the productivity of production in general.
