Essay

Thesis deals with the problem of a safe educational environment formation in higher military educational establishment. The pedagogical conditions that ensure the effective formation of a safe educational environment in the higher military educational establishment (introduction of a humanistic approach to the process of military man formation in a higher military educational establishment; cadets’ intensive adaptation to the specific conditions of the higher military educational establishment; future officers’ training of methods and technologies of work in stressful situations; formation of cadets’ readiness to counteract the influence of possible in formation threats and challenges in the educational environment of higher military educational establishment) are substantiated and experimentally verified. The criteria of a safe educational environment formation in the higher military educational establishment (the protection of cadets from all types of violence; the reference significance of the educational environment; the cadets’ satisfaction of the effectiveness of the educational environment functioning), their indicators, specific parameters and the levels of a safe educational environment formation in the higher military educational establishment are defined and characterized. According to the particularities of the military educational environment and within the frame work of the above mentioned basic criteria the specific parameters are defined, among which: professional adaptation of the cadets in the higher military educational establishment; cadet’s health and safety in the educational environment in the higher military educational establishment; communicative culture; educational system; extreme competence; favourable psychological atmosphere and information security. It is established that the safe educational environment formation can be manifested at the following levels: low, medium, high basing on level approach to the diagnostics of the educational environment safety. These levels are based on cadets’ assessments and their sense of safety which is one of the least studied and regulated characteristics of the safe educational environment in the higher military educational establishment. The theoretical model of the process of a safe educational environment formation in the higher military educational establishment is developed. The methodological recommendations for academic staff concerning a safe educational environment formation in the higher military educational establishment were developed. It is determined that the safe educational environment of the higher military educational establishment forms the serviceman personality of a safe type of behaviour and enhances the effectiveness of educational activities in the educational process, which, in turn, leads to an increase of the professional training quality of the Armed Forces of Ukraine future officers.
