Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of forming the readiness of future foreign language teachers for professional activity in the system of higher education, taking into account the experience of Sweden. The principles of organization of the system of higher education in Sweden are outlined: voluntary and free of charge; individualization of training; multilinguism; multiculturalism; multidisciplinarity; dialogicity; autonomy in teaching and creativity; communication theory with practice and mobility in the labor market. The basic competencies developing in the process of professional training of future foreign language teachers in the system of higher education are substantiated, criteria are systematized, which reflect the level of formation of the professional competence of students in Sweden.
