The dissertation is devoted to the problem of formation of research competence of future marketing specialists in universities. The article explores the essence of the concept of «formation of research competence of future marketing specialists». The concept is considered as a holistic integral characteristic of a marketing specialist. This characteristic is manifested in his readiness to take an active research position in relation to his activity and himself as his subject in order to transfer semantic the context of activity from functional to transforming in conditions of uncertainty. The state of the problem of forming the research competence of future marketing specialists in modern pedagogical theory and practice and its structure is analyzed. In the dissertation was formed the theoretical definition and justification of the pedagogical conditions for the formation in the universities of research competence of future marketing specialistsin. The model of formation of research competence of future marketing specialists in higher educational institutions is developed, which includes target, content-procedural and effective blocks. The effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for the formation of research competence of future marketing specialists in higher educational institutions according to certain criteria, indicators and levels was experimentally tested.
