A research object is professional preparation of future teachers of publicly-humanitarian disciplines in higher pedagogical educational establishment. Research aim - in theory to ground and experimentally check pedagogical terms and pedagogical model of forming of ethic competence of future teachers of publicly-humanitarian disciplines in the process of studies. For the decision of the put tasks and gaining end drawn on the complex of methods of research : theoretical, empiric research, mathematical statistics. The practical significance of the results obtained is to develop and validate a pedagogical model for forming the ethical competence of future teachers of social and humanitarian disciplines; methods of diagnosing the levels of formation of ethical competence of future teachers of social and humanitarian disciplines; educational program, lectures, practical and independent classes from the special course "Ethical competence of teachers of social and humanitarian disciplines"; the publication of the teaching aids "Ethical competence of the teacher". The materials of the dissertation can be used in the professional training of future teachers of social and humanitarian disciplines in higher educational establishments, as well as for the improvement of professional qualifications of working teachers and teachers of social and humanitarian disciplines.
