Yavorska N. Forming of Professional Competence of Future Lawyers by means of foreign languages

The essence of the «professional competence of future lawyers» concept has been specified, being considered as an integrative category whose components are integral, general and special competencies reflecting the level of knowledge, skills, experience, way of thinking, professional, ideological and civic qualities, moral and ethical values, which determines the ability of future professionals to successfully carry out professional and further educational activities and is the result of studying at a certain level of higher education. The organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional competence of future lawyers by means of a foreign language have been scientifically justified and experimentally tested. These conditions are: implementation of international standards for professions in the field of «Law» in the curricula of future lawyers training and improvement of normative and methodical provision of the training process of future lawyers based on the use of international experience; updating of target guidelines and content of the academic disciplines of «Foreign language for professional use (German)», «Foreign language for professional use (English)» based on a set of approaches; realization in the educational process of personally oriented technologies of training for encouraging personal ethical behaviour of future lawyers; use of international educational electronic tools developed by international organizations.
