Thesis for a Candidate’s Degree in Pedagogical Sciences in speciality 13.00.04 – Theory and Methods of Professional Education. – Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University, Hlukhiv, 2018. The dissertation presents the results of systemic study of the content and organization of the future teachers of mathematics training in the system of pedagogical education of Ukraine (the second half of the twentieth century). The analysis of the historical background of the development of the school mathematical education in Ukraine has allowed to establish qualities and trends in the organization of the educational process, which were discovered in the mathematics teacher training. Basic periods in the future teachers of mathematics training in the system of pedagogical education of Ukraine in the second half of the twentieth century have been singled out, their peculiarities have been characterized, key tendencies of each period have been found out. The constructive experience of future mathematics teachers training in the system of pedagogical education of Ukraine in the second half of the twentieth century was actualized; the main directions of its use for the development of modern higher education were designed. Educational and methodological materials on the research issues for teachers and students of the pedagogical and mathematical specialties in pedagogical institutions of higher education, as well as for the students of the training courses in the institutions of the postgraduate pedagogical education, have been developed and tested.
