Dordiak O. International legal regulation of the provision of travel services.

The thesis is dedicated to the complex analysis of international legal, particularly regional regulation of the provision of travel services, regulation of the provision of travel services within the framework of the European Union and comparative analysis of such regulation with Ukrainian legislation, identification of its features and significance for the functioning and development of a compulsory international law designed to regulate tourism activities. Manuscript examines the definition of the concepts "tourism", "tourist" and "travel service" in the main research works, in the framework of the international law and regional multilateral agreements. Besides, it is analyzed their compliance with the challenges of a modern information society, in which people have more opportunities, goals, and desire to travel. Attention is focused to that the concept "tourist" differs from the concept "traveler", "visitor" and "sightseer" and therefore, under the subject of the legal regulation of the provision of travel services must be all of them, because the purpose of the trip do not depend on the process of its realization.
