Essay

The dissertation deals with the research of the problem of the future paramedics training for professional activity in the process of production practice. The organization of conducting the production practice of the future paramedics on the basis of the competence approach has been found out. The peculiarities of conducting the production practice of the future paramedics have been determined by the specifics of their training for professional activity (characterized by planning the educational and cognitive activity; the implementation of curricula and educational programs; the complex of professionally oriented and individual-research tasks; professional researches are connected to the structure of the organization of the conducting the production practice on the basis of the competence approach) and have been revealed at the following stages: motivation and diagnostic stage; educational and activity stage; result and practical stage. Based on the results of the theoretical analysis of scientific and pedagogical sources, it has been determined that the following components have essential significance for the future paramedics readiness for professional activity: motivational; cognitive; activity and practical; personal and productive. The motivational component determines the interest in its development and readiness for the appropriate standards of providing the medical care taking into account modern medical science and practice and is characterized by the criterion – awareness of aspirations, needs and goals for professional activity. The cognitive component contributes to the formation of the conscious acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and abilities for professional activity in the process of the future paramedics training. The component is characterized by the criterion – the presence of the cognitive activeness formation for the improvement of professionally-oriented knowledge. Activity and practical component determines the formation of practical and activity characteristics in the process of the future paramedics training for professional activity. The presence of the professional abilities and skills formation for educational and production activity has been chosen as the criterion. The personal and productive component contributes to the effective training of the future paramedics and the thorough formation of practical abilities and skills for professional activity. The development of the leading significant qualities of the future paramedics for the achievement of personal and professional goals has been chosen as the criterion. The pedagogical conditions of the of the future paramedics training in the process of production practice based on the competence approach have been determined (increasing interest of the future paramedics readiness to professional activity, gradual formation of the future paramedics readiness to professional activity in the process of production practice, the implementation of computer technologies into the process of the future paramedics training to professional activity; activation of independent activity of the future paramedics and increase of its influence on the principles of competence approach), and the author model of this process has been developed.
