Essay

The thesis is the first in the theory and methods of professional education theoretical-experimental research on the problem of training future physical culture and choreography teachers for the implementation of the optional modules in the process of professional activity. The state of development of the problem of professional training of the future physical culture and choreography teachers is revealed and the content of the basic concepts of the research is disclosed. The essence of readiness of the future physical culture and choreography teachers for the implementation of the optional modules according to the types of musical-motor activity and choreography, considered as an integrative personality formation, is the result of special training and is reflected in their orientation to the use of aerobics, step aerobics, aqua aerobics, cheerleading and the means of choreographic art based on their own dance-motor experience in their professional activity. In the structure of the specified readiness, three dialectically interconnected components are distinguished – motivational, cognitive and activity. The criteria and indicators characterizing three levels of formation of the future physical education and choreography teachers’ readiness for the implementation of the optional modules in the process of professional activity are proposed. The model of the future physical culture and choreography teachers’ training for the implementation of the optional modules in the process of professional activity, which covers four interconnected units (target, theoretical-methodological, organizational-content, diagnostic-productive) and corresponding pedagogical conditions (motivation of students to acquisition of comprehensive experience of dance-motor activity in the process of professional training; introduction of innovative methods of implementation of the optional modules in the course of pedagogical practice; providing future physical culture and choreography teachers with technology for planning safe physical activity while using dance-motor exercises) is substantiated and developed. The curriculum of the future physical culture and choreography teachers’ training for the implementation of the optional modules in the process of professional activity is specified. The disciplines “Theory and methods of teaching aerobics”, “Basics of choreography” are developed and implemented in the educational process; teaching-methodological complexes of the disciplines “Musical-rhythmic education”, “Gymnastics and methods of its teaching”, “Theory and methods of physical education” are adjusted at the expense of introduction to their content of additional sections on dance-motor activity, as well as the tasks for pedagogical practice in accordance with the requirements of the current curriculum on physical culture in the institutions of general secondary education; according to it the independent and extra-curricular work of students is organized. The model of training of the future physical culture and choreography teachers for the implementation of the optional modules in the process of professional activity was experimentally tested.
