The dissertation thesis is devoted to the actual problem of forming professional communication culture of future managers of foreign economic activity in the process of professional training. The paper analyzes the state of problem study in psychological and pedagogical literature. The structure of professional communication culture of future managers of foreign economic activity with the identification of its components has been characterized.
The author has determined both criteria (motivational, cognitive, activity, communicative, behavioral), corresponding indicators and levels (creative, high, sufficient, low) of professional communication culture of managers of foreign economic activity. The model of the holistic process of forming professional communication culture of future managers of foreign economic activity, which reflects the unity of theoretical, didactic and diagnostic components, has been developed and well-grounded.
Pedagogical conditions contributed to forming professional communication culture of future managers in foreign economic activity (providing interactive subject-subject interaction in the process of professional training on the basis of individual-oriented approach; application of technologies of interactive training aimed at specific situation modelling of professional interaction; combination of the content of professional training of future specialists in foreign economic activity with their communication culture mastering; pedagogical monitoring) have been
determined, grounded and verified by the experiment.
The dissertation contains theoretically grounded and experimentally tested methodology of forming professional communication culture aimed at the development of students’ communicative competence, system of values and increasing motivation for future self-education.
The advantages of forming professional communication culture by means of interactive teaching methods have been proved. The most significant are the following: increasing the students' motivation for professional communication, assistance in identifying the student's personal communication potential, improving the emotional and psychological state of students and creating favorable psychological atmosphere in the group, stimulating teachers and students to selfimprovement. Positive changes in experimental groups have been occurred due to the
onstant involvement of students in different situations required solution that are close to future professional activities in the context of business communication.
Scientific relevance of the obtained results is the following:
– for the first time, pedagogical conditions that will promote forming professional communication culture of future managers of foreign economic activity have been determined, substantiated and experimentally verified;
– the model of the holistic process of forming professional communication culture of future managers of foreign economic activity has been developed and substantiated, which reflects the unity of theoretical, didactic and diagnostic
components;
– the notion «culture of professional communication of managers of foreign economic activity» has been specified as an integrative notion, which provides a positive result in situations of business communication and combines cultural and specific knowledge related to business analysis models; behavioral and sociolinguistic skills that enable students’ adaptation to different business communication contexts; personal qualities that promote the development of positive and tolerant attitude towards communicative interaction;
− the structure of professional communication culture of managers of foreign economic activity with the definition of its components (motivational, cognitive, interactive, communicative and emotional) has been characterized;
− methodical supply of the process of professional communication culture formation of future managers of foreign economic activity in higher educational institutions by means of interactive technologies has been improved by the development of special course «Communication in a manager’s professional activity».
The practical significance of the obtained results: it has been theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified structural and functional model of the process of professional communication culture formation of future managers of foreign economic activity; it has been developed and suggested for use the author's special course «Communication in a manager’s professional activity», trainings on foreign business communication, educational work program «Formation of students’ communicative culture». Some author's developments, which have been used in practice during the pedagogical experiment, have been used in practice during the pedagogical experiment, have been summarized in a manual«Training Methods in Foreign Language Business Communication».
