Humeniuk Y. Diversification of foreign trade relations of the agicultural sector of the Ukrainian economy in the context of globalization.

In the thesis, the theoretical and conceptual approaches to the formation of a diversified model of export directions of the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy are generalized and deepened. The analysis of the current state of export activities in the agricultural sector has been carried out. Based on the systematization and critical analysis of the achievements of representatives of mercantilism, classical political economy, the German historical school, Marxism, Neoclassical and Keynesian economic theory and institutionalism, the author highlights the evolution of scientific views on the essence and characteristics of economic systems and places of the agricultural sector in them. The conclusion has been made about the enrichment and deepening of theoretical ideas about the nature and specifics of multi-level economic systems in the process of the evolution of economic science. The generalization of the unorthodox directions of scientific research in this field made it possible to define modern economic systems as mixed, transformational economies characterized by complexity, polystructural composition, openness, dynamic disequilibrium and instability. The strategic directions of formation of the export-oriented model of development of the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy conditioned by the global economic challenges have been substantiated and systematized. The competitiveness of agrarian products of Ukraine in the world food market under the conditions of global and regional transformations has been determined. The diversification shift has been proposed in the direction of new markets to boost the sale of agricultural produce. Competitive development of the agrarian sector of the national economy under the conditions of globalization has been defined as a progressive purposeful modernization process where comprehensive harmonization and efficiency are ensured in a balanced structural ratio and functioning of its production, social, environmental, and production components which have a constructive effect on other areas of the national economy and create a basis for the long-term use of competitive advantages, provide national food security and foster the country's economic growth in a globalized world.
