Dablo L. Dmytro Ovsianyko-Kulykovskyi’s scientific and theoretical legacy: culturological aspect

The thesis is concerned with comprehensive analysis of scientific and theoretical legacy of D. Ovsianyko-Kulykovskyi, a well-known scientist and follower of O. Potebnia whose scientific activities promoted further development of Kharkiv Linguistic School that played a remarkable role in the intellectual life of the Russian Empire in the late 19th – the early 20th century. The author has analyzed the extent of evaluation and assessment of D. Ovsianyko-Kulykovskyi’s scientific and theoretical legacy in the research of the 20th – the early 21st century. It is underlined that the culturologicalanalysisof the scientist’s legacy has been carried out for the first time in the modern Ukrainian humanistics.It is emphasized that this analysis is based on such factors as the interdisciplinary approach, the biographical method, consecutive personalization of the material under research and use of the conceptual and categorical framework of culturology.
