The thesis is dedicated to the process of future agrarians’ professional training in higher education institutions of Great Britain that would facilitate the use of educationally valuable experience in the future agrarians’ training in higher education institutions in Ukraine. The research highlights the development stages of future agrarians’ professional training; defines the concepts «agricultural education», «professional training», «benchmark», «employability»; characterizes the specifics of organizing higher agricultural education, forms of studying (full-time, part-time, full-time with a placement, sandwich) and qualification levels according to Certificates / Diplomas of Higher Education, bachelor’s degrees; generalizes modern practice of future agrarians’ professional training and defines the directions of using British experience in higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
