Essay

The object is the cognitive-pragmatic potential of Ukrainian vocabulary and phraseology, the donor ability of the Ukrainian language, which is manifested in the process of mixing Ukrainian and Russian linguistic cultures; the purpose is to find out the cognitive-pragmatic potential of Ukrainian vocabulary and phraseology, the donor ability of the Ukrainian language, actualizing the facts of its influence on the Russian language: enriching its lexical and phraseological composition and stylistics, as well as demonstrating the educational and promotional mission of Ukrainian writers in the aspect of representing the corresponding status the Ukrainian language, its wealth and beauty, and the creation of the "malorosiyskyi style" in the artistic speech of the Russian language; the novelty of the research: for the first time in Ukrainian linguistics analysis of borrowings - lexical-semantic and phraseological Ukrainianisms has been carried out, which testified to the fact that the Ukrainian language has a powerful influence, its significant cognitive-pragmatic potential is reflected in the lexicographic practice of the language of the nineteenth century and its artistic stylistics, which led to the formation of the " malorosiyskyi style". The classification of types of lexical and lexical-semantic borrowings-Ukrainianisms has been given, their thematic and grammatical classifications are given, the place in the language picture of the world of the recipient language has been determined and further adaptation of the updated linguistic units has been traced; field – linguistics.
