The thesis is a theoretical and experimental research of problems of the teacher-organizer’s professional competence in terms of postgraduate education. The historical and pedagogical aspect of the origin of the post "teacher-organizer"; features of activity and modern requirements for the official duties and qualification characteristics are analyzed; the professionogram is developed. Categorical analysis of the basic concepts of the study ("professional competence", "professional pedagogical competence", "teacher-organizer’s professional competence development") which reflects their general meaning, essence and relationship is conducted based on the reasoning of methodological principes. The content structure of the professional competence, criteria, indicators and levels of formation are determined. The modern aspects of the transformation of postgraduate pedagogical education as a modern environment for the development of a teacher-organizer in the coursework and inter-curricular period are explored. The author's theoretical model of the development of the professional competence of the teacher-organizer in the conditions of postgraduate education, the method of its implementation and efficiency have been proved theoretically.
