The thesis deals with the professional training of future specialists in finance and credit in domestic and foreign higher educational establishments; the problem of formation of their professional culture in pedagogical theory and practice is revealed as well as the educational and cultural environment of the higher educational establishment as the dynamic subsystems of society are characterized. A set of interrelated cultural and educational conditions, grouped in sectors – cultural and educational, which, on the one hand, create the space for self-identification of the student’s personality with respect to his own professional and cultural development in accordance with individual characteristics, needs and cultural preferences, and on the other – this is the space for conscious determination of the trajectory of professional and personal development, the transformation of the intellectual activity in the personal culture. According to the results of the definitions’ analysis, the essence of the concept “professional culture of future specialists in finance and credit” is defined as the multifactorial multifunctional quality system of the person with a high level of professional knowledge, abilities and skills, motivated to preserve and enhance the cultural memory of a socio-professional group that is capable of the development of a single field of financial activity, its organization and regulation, based on regulatory documents, effective interaction in the systems “human-human”, “human-society” in the conditions of managing, to inherit a set of principles, methods, ways of communication with the observance of characteristic value orientations, the system of professional ethics and etiquette, which determines the behavior of the person in the professional environment. On the basis of expert evaluation, the theoretical model of the professional culture of future specialists in finance and credit, which consists of interconnected and interconnected components, is substantiated and developed as follows: personality-motivational - acts as the regulator of human behavior in determining his or her educational objective and further professional activity; mental-valuable – combines the system of professional theoretical (basic concepts) and professional technological knowledge (methods, means and technologies used in the professional activities of financiers) with general-cultural competences; activity-creative – involves mastering the technological functions of future professional activities; realization of the creative component: originality of thinking, generation of new ideas, associativity, ingenuity, curiosity, creative problem solving, transformation, forecasting and so on, which will enhance innovation with the experience; communicative-organizational – is cross-cutting, that is, present in all operating actions of a specialist-financier, correlates with its production functions: financial, economic, accounting, organizational-productive, technical-informational, analytical, organizational, reflecting the ability to adapt in a professional environment; realization of professional activity on the basis of constant interaction in the team and with clients, which requires him communicative and organizational skills, developed oral speech in terms of domestic, socio-political and professional subjects. The author’s methodology for forming the professional culture of future specialists in finance and credit in the cultural and educational environment is presented in the paper, which in its turn combines the complex of forms, methods and technologies of organization of educational process in economic institutions of higher education, which makes possible the implementation of the content of components of future specialists’ professional culture in finance and credit, establishing objective links between them and thus ensure the achievement of pedagogical goals and objectives. The effectiveness of the author’s methodology for the formation of professional culture of future specialists in finance and credit in the cultural and educational environment has been experimentally tested and proved.
