Kazymyriv K. Mythologem of earth in the Ukrainian professional music: historical and cultural aspect

In the dissertation the category of Earth mythologem in the works of Ukrainian composers of the past and the present, the example of works connected with the poetic text, and program instrumental compositions is considered. In the Ukrainian cultural tradition, the fundamental mythologemes formed its own hermeneutical environment. Among them one of the most important – the mythologeme of the Earth. Its pagan, pre-Christian perception in the pantheon of the gods was synthesized with Christian rituals and symbols. That explains the variety of artistic versions of the mythologeme under consideration at all stages of historical and style evolution. The presented thesis is presented by the author's concept of interpretation of the mythologeme of the Earth and its rather numerous derivatives of mythological symbols.
