The object of the research is the process of implementation of national investment strategies under conditions of regionalization of international trade.
The aim of the thesis is to deepen the theoretical principles of forming national investment strategies and to formalize the mechanism of their implementation under conditions of strengthening the regionalization of the international trade.
The theoretical and methodological basis of the thesis includes the scientific papers of the leading Ukrainian and foreign scientists in the field of research into the problems of international investment, elements and factors of the formation of regional integration associations of countries, the prospects of implementation of national investment strategies under conditions of strengthening the regionalization of international trade. In the process of solving the set tasks, the general scientific and special methods of research were used in the work, specifically: historical and logical method, the methods of structural analysis, scientific abstraction, the methods of theoretical and systemic generalization, analysis and synthesis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, analogies, analysis of the dynamic series, comparative analysis, logical, and systemic-comprehensive approaches, the method of grouping, the method of regression and correlation analysis, statistical and graphical methods.
In the course of the research, there were obtained the results containing scientific novelty, characterize the author's personal contribution to the development of the mentioned subject matter and are determined by the following provisions:
for the first time: the mechanism for implementation of national investment strategies under conditions of regionalization of international trade was formalized.
improved: the classification of the international development strategies of countries with regard to the types of investment strategies of the member countries of the regional integration associations by the criterion of their foreign economic priorities; the concept of regionalization of the international trade thanks to the inclusion of the investment component; approaches to the systematization of regional trade agreements that contain investment provisions – TIPs.
received further development: the category and concept apparatus of the international economic relations by determining the national investment strategy, clarification of the essence of the concept of “international regionalization”; the characteristic of the features of the investment policy of the countries with the delimitation of activities of investment liberalization/protectionism and determining the regional-integration, sectoral, national trends; identifying the determinants of the environment of formation and implementation of the national investment strategies at the national level, regional level, global level and leading organizational and institutional factors; methodological approaches to determining the investment strategies of member countries for regional integration associations by the criterion of foreign economy priorities.
