Essay

Psychosemantic study of moral consciousness of an individual is carried out in the dissertation. It is grounded the psychosemantic structure of moral consciousness on the basic levels of its development – preconventional, conventional and postconventional; the factor structure of the postconventional level of moral consciousness of high, medium and low formation is described in detail, and the personal correlations of the postconventional level of moral consciousness are determined. The links of factor structures of moral consciousness with basic personality traits, moral and ethical attitudes are empirically singled out and analyzed. The psychosemantic model of students’ moral consciousness in the aggregate of sensory tissue, meaning and personal sense was constructed. The author’s definition of psychosemantic space of moral consciousness of the individual as an individual system of meanings and characteristics of individual and cultural achievements that are properly structured in sensory tissue in the form of associative senses of morality and connotative senses of conscience is proposed.
