Maslo R. Globalization determinants of the development of international activity of small cities

The Dissertation is devoted to the complex research of international activity of small cities in conditions of economic globalization. The work substantiates the latest paradigm of international specialization of small cities and systematizes its globalization determinants. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of existing international practices of institutional mechanisms for the intensification of international activities of monofunctional small cities as centers of export specialization of territories as sources of increase in profits and knowledge accumulation centers. . The foreign experience of municipal management on the basis of branding of territories is generalized. Cross-border cooperation of small cities of Ukraine with a systematic assessment of its main quantitative and qualitative parameters and justification of key directions of intensification is integrated.
