The object of the thesis research is the development of a competitive infrastructure for the international transport. The subject of the research is the conditions, factors, patterns and mechanisms of forming the competitiveness of the production infrastructure of international airports. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the priority fields of forming the competitiveness of the production infrastructure of international airports of Ukraine on the basis of a comprehensive generalization and improvement of the theoretical principles of managing its competitiveness, identifying tendencies and structural dominants of the development of the global aviation transport market. For the first time author’s definition of the «production infrastructure of international airports» is given, the subject-and-object structuring of production infrastructure of international airports is carried out. The mechanism of forming the competitiveness of the production infrastructure of international airports and methodical principles for assessing the level of its competitiveness are improved. Got further development: conceptual approaches to the formation of the competitiveness of the production infrastructure of international airports; research of the stages of the society development in the part of causative socio-and-technological and infrastructural transformational changes; a retrospective of the periods of scientific knowledge of the infrastructure with a distinction being made in modern areas of its research; substantiation of directions and instruments for forming the competitiveness of the production infrastructure of international airports in Ukraine.
