Essay

The object of the research: psychological well-being of students with disabilities. The purpose of the research: to determine the factors of psychological well-being of students with disabilities. The methods: theoretical (analysis, systematization, generalization of scientific psychological literature), empirical (psychodiagnostic method) and mathematical-statistical. Scientific novelty: for the first time it has been established that fantasy plays an important role in providing psychological well-being of students with disabilities, an illusion of achieving meaningful goals in the future; it was first established that the structure of psychological well-being of students with disabilities is incapacity and internally contradictory; it is specified that peculiarities of psychological well-being of students with disabilities are interrelated with self-esteem of health, positive assessment of oneself and their own actions, environment management and spontaneity; the concept of structural components of psychological well-being of students is specified. Practical value of research: based on the results of the study, practical recommendations for teachers and tutors, who interact with students with disabilities, were developed; the results of work are introduced into the training process of psychologists. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions.
