Feldman Y. Valeological mindset as a component of the personality orientation in the period of youth

Object – orientation of the personality in the period of youth; purpose – to define typological features of a valeological mindset of the personality in the period of youth and psychological predictors of its development; methods – theoretical (systematization and generalization), empirical (experimental and psychodiagnostic), mathematic-statistical methods of data processing; novelty – typological features of valeological mindsets of the personality in the period of youth by identification of constructive and destructive configurations of the resource, manipulative, supported and deficiental valeological mindsets are for the first time described; the system of personal predictors of the resource, manipulative, supported and deficiental valeological mindsets of the personality in the period of youth is for the first time defined; ideas of psychosomatic installations by identification of their constructive forms at examinees with different types of valeological mindsets are expanded; ideas of a valeological mindset as the being orientation of the personality in support of health are expanded; diagnostic aids of the attitude towards health and psychological wellbeing of the personality in the period of youth by creation of author's psychodiagnostic tools for a research of a valeological mindset of the personality are gained further development; means of psychological maintenance of full functioning of the personality in the period of youth by development of a resource valeological mindset and a valeological competence in general are gained further development; results – scientific ideas of the psychological nature, typology and development tools of a valeological mindset of the personality, of a role of personal predictors in formation of the resource, manipulative, supported and deficiental valeological mindsets are expanded. The psychodiagnostic technique of «Valeological mindset» is developed. The program of psychological maintenance of formation of a valeological mindset in the period of youth taking into account psychosomatic competence is developed. The received new evidence-based results are an essential contribution to pedagogical and age psychology. Results can be used during vocational training and increase in professional level of practical psychologists when teaching subject matters "Age psychology", "Health psychology", "Psychosomatics", "Fundamentals of psychotherapy". Results of a dissertation research are introduced in educational process of institutions of the higher school; area – psychology.
