Shahoian S. Impact of the mining industry’ corporate structures on the economic security of the countries of the world

Object of study: economic security as a multi-structured phenomenon and a complex system for ensuring sustainable and balanced development. Aim: development of key principles, terms and methods for assessing sectoral impact on the level of economic security of the countries of the world and scientific substantiation of practical recommendations for the development of security strategies of the extractive industry corporate structures in the context of providing economic security of countries and sustainable development of the world economy. Methods: method of dialectical cognition, generalization, historical and logical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstraction, system analysis, economic and statistical analysis and modeling. Scientific novelty: the methodological bases for developing the model of the security strategy of extractive TNC are proposed; systematization of modern methods of assessing the level of economic security of the country is improved; the main approaches to the study of economic security as a state and as a process are highlighted; scientific and methodical approach to the evaluation of sectoral influence (in particular, of the extractive industry) on the level of industrial and economic security of the country; the scientific and methodological bases of the study of the country's economic security ensuring are developed by systematizing and expanding the list of indicators characterizing the mineral and raw material security of the country; the most effective model of mineral and raw material policy of the countries of the world, based on the principles of sustainable development, is defined; the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the research is developed by means of definition of the category "economic security". The research results are implemented in practical activities of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Dnipropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce, State Enterprise "Pervomaiskvugillya", LLC "NVP Elast" (Dnipro); in the educational process of the National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic".
