Nychkaliuk V. Academician of the Academy of Science of the Ukrainian SSR K.Hr. Voblyi – a scientist and organizer of the economic-geographical science and sugar-beet cooperation (the first half of the XXth century)

The dissertation for obtaining the Candidate of Historical Sciences degree in specialty 07.00.07 «History of science and technique». – National Scientific Agricultural Library of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2018. The dissertation is a complex scientific research, which discloses the contribution of K.Hr. Voblyi (18-1947) on the development of economic-geographical science and sugar-beet cooperation (the first half of the XXth century). The level of scientific development of the subject of research has analyzed and found that the activities of the scientist on the scientific and organizational support of economic-geographical science and the sugar industry have not comprehensively studied before, and published works partly reproduce his contribution to the development of this issue. It was found out that K.Hr. Voblyi was the founder of the economic-geographical direction during the first half of the XXth century. In addition, the scientific and pedagogical activity in the best domestic higher educational institutions: University of St. Volodymyr's and the Kyiv Commercial Institute was traced. His scientific-organizational activity in the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR was disclosed. The scientific works of K.Hr. Voblyi, in the first place on issues of economic-geographical science, sugar industry and beet cooperation, land issues, problems of the Dnipro were analized.
