Essay

The analysis of the regulatory and legal framework was carried out, when solving the energy efficiency problem in the transportation branch of Ukraine, paying particular attention to the consumption of fuel and energy resources by automobile transport. The role and place of energy evaluation in the structure of the urban construction projects were determined. The native and foreign scientific-research basis was studied related to the determination of the fuel and energy resources consumption to the street and road networks of the cities. City-planning classification was given and structural logical scheme was developed related to the evaluation of choice of engineering planning solution of transportation hubs in the structure of town-planning activities. The factors that influence the indicator of transport energy consumption within transport nodes are established and analyzed. It is proposed to introduce the concept of coefficients of bringing vehicles to a single car in terms of energy costs. The method of determination of energy consumption of a transport stream with the consideration of separate factors influencing the indicator of transport energy consumption within the limits of regulated, self-regulated and at different levels is developed and proposed: composition, structure, speed and mode of traffic flow, geometric parameters of transport nodes. The method of calculating annual energy transport costs in monetary terms is developed as one of the components of the feasibility study for choosing planning solutions for transport nodes. In this work, the calculations of energy consumption of a traffic flow using the developed methodology and software product for simulation modeling – PTV Vissim are compared. The ways of optimization of the existing one are offered within the transportation hub at the junction of Peremohy Avenue – Kiltseva Doroha – Akademika Palladina Avenue in Kyiv City.
