The dissertation is a complex research of mechanisms of competitive development of Ukraine in the global environment as well as the ways to ensure Ukraine's national economic security in the conditions of the new international order.The work identifies the criteria and principles of world economic power redistribution in the globalised setting, examines objective preconditions and factors of the new international economic order and defines its institutional and economic parameters. A significant attention is given to analysing of realisation mechanisms of the mobilisation model of Ukraine's economic development in the context of economic self-sufficiency gained by Ukraine as well as defines the instruments for realisation of European integration strategy of Ukraine. The impact of global and regional factors on the economic development of Ukraine is disclosed as well as conditions and means of achievement of theenergy independence of Ukraine.The author specifies the key areas for ensuring the investment and financial security of Ukraine in the conditions of the global instability as well as the innovation and technology resource for ensuring a high competitive status of the state.
