In the thesis the problem of training future mathematics teachers for improving the financial literacy of students of a profile school is investigated. The concepts "financial literacy", "future teacher of mathematics training" are specified. The components of future teachers of mathematics professional competence are characterized and criterion-level concepts for the diagnosis are determined. A well designed generalized model of the didactic system for preparing future mathematics teachers for financial activities, which combines the conceptual, target, instrumental (content and learning technologies) supermodels and the submodel for monitoring the results of students' educational and cognitive activity, was designed and justified. The organizational and pedagogical conditions for the implementation of the proposed model for training and improving og financial literacy of future mathematics teachers of specialized school students were determined. The organizational conditions includes: a) expansion of the volume of additional education due to the introduction of special courses on the choice of "Fundamentals of Financial Mathematics" (forunder graduates) and "Fundamentals of Financial Literacy" (for bachelors), b) usage of the latest teaching technologies (contamination training, "inverted class", "Expansion of the working area", Web-quest technology, simulation games, writing an essay, methodical co-working etc.). Pedagogical conditions include: improving of the teaching and educational process for purposes defined by society; implementation of a system of measures to develop the financial and economic thinking of future mathematics teachers; ensuring continuity in the assimilation of the content and technology of teaching students; implementation of a systematic approach to the preparing of future mathematics teachers in the planning and implementation of the process of improving the financial literacy of students in a profile school; theim plementation of communications aimed at integrating socio-economic, mathematical and special knowledge, as well as the formation of basic financial and economic knowledge of future mathematics teachers; the use of contextual and situational approaches in teaching students with the goal of introducing financial and economic concepts, solving financial and mathematical problems, and carrying out individual projects. Author's curricula of special courses on the choice of students "Fundamentals of Financial Mathematics" (for the level of professional training "Master") and "Fundamentals of financial literacy" (for the level of professional training "Bachelor") are developed. The pedagogical experiment was confirmed to make effectiveness of the proposed model for future teachers training in improving the financial literacy of students in a profile school.
