Essay

The thesis is devoted to the elucidation of the regularities of oxidative processes in the mechanisms of development of the pathological process in combination of skeletal-chest traumas and the effectiveness of the use of 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-oxypyridine succinate and 3-hydroxy-6-methyl-2-ethylpyridine hydrochloride for the purpose of correction of disorders. The activation of free radical oxidation processes, which reaches the peak values after 7-14 days of the post-traumatic period, and the decrease in the activity of superoxide dismutase in the lungs and heart with minimal values after 14 days in liver, heart and lung tissues. The pathogenetic interrelations between active forms of oxygen, the level of transmembrane potential and the severity of apoptosis in the condition of a combined injury of the chest and both thighs are established. For the first time, the effectiveness of the use of 3-hydroxypyridine derivatives under the condition of a combined trauma of the thoracic and both hips, which has had a positive effect from the first day of observation on the dynamics of free radical oxidation processes, on the activity of the enzyme level of the antioxidant defense system, statistically significantly activates the energy-synthesizing function of mitochondria, reduces the phenomena of apoptosis leukocytes, the effect of 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine succinate is more pronounced in relation to the effects of 3-hydroxy-6-methyl-2-ethylpyridine hydrochloride.
