Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the complex study of life and activity of an outstanding scientist-zoo technician, academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Grigory Alexandrovich Bogdanov (1930-2009). The paper reveals conditions and key factors of the scientific outlook formation as a scientist, analyzes his organizational, research and pedagogical activity, establishes and describes the main directions of his scientific research. To deepen the historical and analytical study, the periodization of the scientist’s life and creative activity was performed. The scientific interests of the scientist could be reproduced thanks to the research of more than 500 of his works.
