Essay

On the basis of established features of morphological signs of incubation eggs of the chicken cross Cobb-500 of different ages proposed ways to improve the technological process of their incubation. An analysis of variation of the mass incubation eggs with the hen’s parent stock of the cross Cobb-500 showed that, starting at 51 weeks of age birds number of eggs weighing more than 70 g exceeds 53 %, which requires perfection of the temperature regime their incubation. Conducting pre-incubation sorting of eggs by weight provides an opportunity to get the highest rates of hatchability (by 0.3–2.6 % for poultry of 53 weeks of age and 2.4–6.6 % – for poultry of 60 weeks of age) and, indirectly, hatching of the young chickens (by 0.2–0.9 %). The distribution of hatching eggs into classes by weight allowed increasing hatchability and the hatching of the young chickens and making adjustments in the temperature mode of incubation of eggs weighing more than 70 g. Using the developed incubation regime there is an increase in the level hatchability of eggs by 0.7–2.1 %, the hatching of young chickens to 0.7 %; for shortening the term withdrawal of the young (with 512 to 506 hours), that is its synchronization, improving the quality received young chickens, its further performance.
