Liubachivska R. Formation of High-Technology Clusters in the EU Bioeconomy

A thesis for Academic Degree of Candidate of Economic Science in specialty 08.00.02 – World Economy and International Economic Relations. SHEE «Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman». – Kyiv, 2018. The dissertation is devoted to the research of the formation of high – technology clusters in bioeconomy of the European Union in terms of the modern conditions of innovation and technology progress. The author has proved that effective operating clusters are one of the most effective tools for increasing the competitiveness of companies and regions. The current state and dynamics of development of high-technology clusters in the bioeconomy of the European Union are analyzed based on the positive tendency of the increased of commodity turnover in bioeconomy of «old» and «new» EU states is determined. The strategic priorities of Ukraine-EU cooperation in the field of bioeconomy in agrobiocluster, bioenergy and biopharmaceutical clusters are revealed. The author proposes an institutional model for the development of bioeconomy in Ukraine, detailing the stages of strategy development and the Action Plan.
