The dissertation is a theoretical-experimental study of the problem of forming the aesthetic culture of the future police officers in the process of professional training. The essence, structure, functions of aesthetic culture of future police officers have been specified. The essence of the aesthetic culture of the future police officers as spiritual, culturological, personal and professional categories has been determined, which testifies to its multidimensional possibilities for establishing the connection with the world of beauty in reality, life, activity. Aesthetic culture is considered as the integrative spiritual and functional entity, which combines the forms of consciousness, self-consciousness, establishment of activity, behaviour with the subsystem of the formed aesthetic qualities of the future police officer, which actively influence the formation of the corresponding components of ethical and professional culture, interact with them, forming reverse connections. To the main functions of the aesthetic culture of the future police officers belong the following: value-orientation, information-content, organizational-activity and creative-search. The role of professional training in forming the aesthetic culture of the future police officers has been studied and the main factors of its aesthetic-pedagogical influence, related to the development of emotional-aesthetic, intellectual-aesthetic and creative-aesthetic qualities of cadets have been determined. The main educational-pedagogical possibilities of institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine concerning the formation of aesthetic culture of the future police officers have been outlined: actualization of the problem of formation of aesthetic culture; definition of methodological approaches to the formation of aesthetic culture; realization of principles of formation of aesthetic culture; enrichment of the content of aesthetic culture of the future police officers; use of effective technologies for the formation of their aesthetic culture; development of mechanisms of self-organization of aesthetic culture by the future police officers. For the first time, pedagogical conditions for the formation of aesthetic culture of the future police officers in the process of professional training have been developed and theoretically substantiated (actualization of the aesthetic attitudes of the future police officers to professional activity in club work); implementation of the advanced content of aesthetic culture in the professional training of the prospective police officers in the process of preparation for professional activity; mastering by cadets of institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with the basis of aesthetic culture in the process of preparing for professional activity, introduction of the systematic approach to the formation of aesthetic culture of the future police officers during their professional training). Structural-functional model for forming the aesthetic culture of the future police officers has been developed, which takes into account: internal and external factors of influence; structural components (conceptual-target, content, functional-activity, evaluation-productive); administrative actions of the pedagogical staff; mechanisms of self-organization of formation of aesthetic culture of the future police officers; the result of the process of formation of aesthetic culture. The criteria, indicators and levels of formation of aesthetic culture of the future police officers on the principles of a systematic approach have been improved. The research-experimental verification of pedagogical conditions and structural-functional model of formation of aesthetic culture of the future police officers in the process of professional training has been carried out. The content forms and methods of forming aesthetic culture of the future police officers (at foreign language lessons, humanitarian disciplines and classes of the club «Professional Aesthetics of the Future Police Officer») have been further developed. Methodical recommendations as for the formation of aesthetic culture of the future police officers in the process of professional training have been worked out. The scientifically substantiated pedagogical conditions for the formation of aesthetic culture of the future police officers have been experimentally tested and can be implemented in the process of professional training in higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
