Essay

The thesis presents the results of the theoretical substantiation of the problem and the practical realization of the ways of professional-communicative competence formation of future officers by means of humanitarian disciplines in higher military educational establishments. The significance of the leading scientific approaches, the implementation of which was ensured by observance of pedagogical and special-methodological (communicative, interrelated language and culture) principles. Based on the results of the conducted content analysis, the professional-communicative competence of the future officer is defined as a complex integrative entity, a set of professional-communication skills, abilities and skills, professional qualities and provides successful communication in the military career field. The structure of future officers' professional-communicative competence is determined and includes four components: value-motivational, cognitive, activity-behavioral and professionally important person-communicative qualities. The author's model of professional-communicative competence is analyzed, which consists of the target; motivational-value; content; organizational-technological; effective blocks. The result of its implementation is the well-established professional-communicative competence of future officers capable of acting in the context of peacekeeping operations, in the area of United forces operation and in solving conflicting professional tasks. The organizational and methodical foundations of the professional- communicative competence formation of future officers include the following steps: stages, integrative external and integrated internal conditions, technologies. The implementation of the author's model of the professional-communicative competence formation envisaged the application of the corresponding technologies implemented on the motivational-informational, theoretical activity based, productive-evaluation stages by means of humanitarian disciplines such as the Ukrainian language of professional orientation, English language, Philosophy, Military pedagogy and psychology, History of Ukraine and the Ukrainian army, as well as special course «Military-specialized foreign language training» and online course «Professional-communicative development of future officers by means of humanitarian disciplines».
